Traci first came to Happy Valley from Wellsville, NY to attend Penn State University and play for the Varsity Women's Golf team. She received her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology, Movement Science in 2000 and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy form Slippery Rock University in 2003. Through one of her residencies, she developed a special interest orthopedic injury and spine management. Traci has over 10 years of experience in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy. Her practice has included helping patients reduce and abolish pain and dysfunction through static and dynamic postural training, stretching and stabilization of the spine. She has been certified by the McKenzie Institute for Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment of the Spine. She also has experience treating patients with vestibular dysfunction and balance problems. Her focus is to help people keep moving and achieving their personal goals through education about their body; Traci provides her patients with realistic ways to be proactive in their health.
Traci continues to enjoy supporting the Penn State Women's golf team, and helping golfers of all skill levels to play without pain and to improve their physical ability to perform a golf swing. She has expanded her knowledge about the golf swing and performance enhancement by earing fitness and medical certifications from the Titleist Performance Insitute, as well as having had the opportunity to learn from her coaches Denise St. Pierre and Mary Kennedy-Zierke.
Traci enjoys working as a contract physical therapist with Energy. The one on one model allows her to use her specialized skills with complete focus on each patient.
