Amy Secrest 
Physical Therapist Assistant 

Amy has been a Physical Therapist Assistant since 2007. She graduated from Trident Technical College in Charleston, SC.  Amy has had a variety has a variety of work experience in various therapy settings including  pediatrics, acute/sub-acute rehabilitation, long-term care/skilled nursing/assisted living facilities, as well as, outpatient settings.  In addition to her clinical skills she has management experience as  the Director of Rehabilitation for two different skilled nursing facilities in the past.    Amy is an integral part of the lymphedema team at Energy Rehab and received a certification in Complete Decongestive Therapy in  2022.   She enjoys working one on one with my patients, helping them succeed in meeting their therapy and personal goals, as well as getting to know them on a personal level.  Prior to becoming a PTA,  Amy was a certified personal trainer through National Academy of Sports Medicine and has always been interested in health and exercise. 

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with  family and friends.  Amy is the mother of 2 beautiful girls, Alexis and Izabella.  She has  married to her  husband, Derek since 2012.  We love to spend time at our lighthouse by the Juniata River and  making  memories with family and friends.
