Doctor of Physical Therapy
Katerina is originally from Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, currently residing in Bellefonte. She completed her undergraduate education at Misericordia University,
earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She then went on to graduate from
Misericordia University with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Since then, Katerina
and her colleagues have published their research, the “Effectiveness of Biofeedback Therapy in Managing Dysfunctional Voiding and Encopresis in Children” in the Journal of Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine. She received a specialized certification in Lymphedema Management, including Complete Decongestive Therapy, from Klose Training. She is also certified in the modified New Zealand Otago Exercise Program for the prevention of falls by the Carolina Geriatric Education Center. Katerina particularly enjoyed working with the geriatric population after obtaining her PT license, and is relishing in one-on-one centered care provided by Energy Rehab.
Outside of her career as a Physical Therapist, Katerina enjoys running, golfing,
skiing, reading, and traveling. She has completed mission work in South Africa and
Jamaica, providing basic medical care and supplies to those in need. Additionally,
she has visited 45 of the States, as well as various international countries around the
world, learning from their cultures and principles.
