Physical Therapy - State College

Jennifer has been working as a licensed Occupational Therapist for 18 years.  Initially, she received an Associates Degree as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant from Mount Aloysius College in 1994 followed by a Bachelor of Science from Misericordia in 1999.  Lastly,  then in 2000, she graduated with a Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy.

Throughout her career, Jennifer has specialized in the treatment of the elderly as she has worked in long term care and home health settings for several years.  She enjoys spending one on one time with each client as she works as a contract therapist with Energy Rehab.  With her expertise, she is able to help each patient reach their functional goals, to improve their independence and to help them with any home equipment needs they might have.

Most recently, Jennifer has completed her Certification in Lymphedema  Management and is now providing care and treatment to those with lymphedema and swelling.  Lymphedema treatment involves a lot of patient education, skin care, compression therapy as well and manual lymph drainage.  With this specialized certification, Jennifer is an integral part of Energy's lymphedema treatment program.
