Physical Therapy - State College

Maggie is a State College native.  She received a Bachelor’s degree in Geoscience and a Master’s in Earth and Environmental Science before pivoting to physical therapy.  Maggie earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Duke University and went on to complete additional post doctoral training through the Spinal Manipulation Institute to become a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy. 

 

She also obtained her Animal Physical Therapy License while practicing in Colorado and her Equine Rehab certification through the University of Tennessee. She has worked in a wide variety of practice settings from long term care to a specialized brain injury and concussion clinic.  Maggie strives to create a partnership with her patients and be a facilitator along the journey of recovery/healing.  She takes a wholistic approach to care and values connecting with her patients in a personal and meaningful way.  Maggie likes to spend her free time outside with her fur kids or finding a DIY project around the house.
